Who is Boys & Girls Clubs of the Metroplex?

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Metroplex is a collaborative effort between Arlington, Collin County, Dallas County, North Central Texas, Rockwall County and Fort Worth Boys & Girls Clubs organizations. This partnership was developed to create a stronger presence throughout North Texas while showing a unified front in support of our mission and dedication to the development of youth.

The Clubs focus on inspiring Academic Success, encouraging Healthy Lifestyles and promoting Positive Citizenship among members.

Did you know?

  • Today more than 4,000 youth will enter through the doors at one of the 39 clubs sites in the Metroplex
  • Each year more than 40,000 youth participate in life-enhancing programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Metroplex
  • 58 percent of Club members are characterized as economically disadvantaged. We reach out to the kids who cannot afford, or may not lack access, to other community programs.
  • Dues are low, averaging $5 to $20 per year
  • 60 percent of Alumni said the club was the only place to go in their neighborhood after school
  • More than 50 percent of Club members come to the Club three or more times per week, spending on average 13 hours per week in the branches
  • 90 percent of youth are promoted to the next grade level
  • 90 percent of Alumni graduate from High School
